WVV Marathon Würzburg 2026: our age-group winners
May 28, 2026Registration for 2027 is open
The WVV Marathon Würzburg is back for another year. You can now secure your place for 2027.
On Sunday, 23 May 2027, running takes centre stage in Würzburg once again. Choose from the marathon, half marathon, 10 km FunRun and relay marathon. For our youngest runners, marathon weekend starts a day earlier: the RESIDENZ QUELLE Children’s and Youth Runs take place on Saturday, 22 May 2027.
The next event is particularly special for us: we’re celebrating 25 years of the Würzburg Marathon. We want to make the anniversary year more than business as usual, with small improvements to how the event runs, fresh ideas for the weekend and a surprise or two for runners and spectators.
What stays the same is everything that makes the WVV Marathon Würzburg special: running by the River Main, a memorable atmosphere, dedicated volunteers, committed partners and a weekend that gets Würzburg moving.
Remember 2026? Our highlights film captures the atmosphere of the WVV Marathon Würzburg and offers a taste of what’s to come in our anniversary year in 2027.
The first pricing tiers are already available. Register early for a lower entry fee.
